I have a daughter turning 5 in aug., and a son turning 3 in sept. I would love to get a video game system for my daughter but is she still young. I am thinking of the nintendo wii but again I don’t know. I would also love to play the video games but honestly it’s more for the kids…any idea, or suggestions, and appropriate age to get your kids this game systems. Thanks for the help.
The Nintendo line has a lot of good games that are approriate for younger children. They do a lot of games that are concentrated more on things like sports or learning rather than all that doom and gloom that other gaming systems concentrate on.
If you look around, you could actually probably find a lot of video games that they could play now that are more educational than anything else. I know there are a lot for the computer, and as I said Nintendo has a lot.
Some people think video games and computers are all bad for kids. I do not. I mean face it, technology is the future. No, you may not have had a computer until you were 30, but that isnt the case now. I vote with introducing technology very early in life, while showing them that it can be very very positive, but also teaching them how to be safe with it.
What are cool games to play with kids of all ages off the streets in Mexico? Any ideas will be appriciated
(if you could post how you play some of them too , that would be gr8)

Is there a handheld game that a 4-7 year old can play with that will help him practice math english with characters like batman, spiderman ect.? if there is where can i get it and about how much does it go for?
Try out the Leapster by Leap Frog. It cost like $60, and has alot of different games you can put in it. The games cost between $10-$30.
I need some online games. Games that don’t have to be downloaded onto my computer. For a girls approx 10-12 yrs.
Thanks in advance.
Try looking at Barbie.com. I think they have some games there. Also, www.pogo.com you can sign up for free and play online. They have many great games that are fun and educational too. They also have a Club Pogo that is $35 a year for a subscription that gets you access to other games. I think its a great site and worth the money. They do have games that you can download trials but you don’t have to do those ones. If you really want, I think I still have a 5 day pass for the Club Pogo site if you give me your email address I can send it to you. Also if they like fashion there is one called www.dollwizard.com where they can play around with different characters and clothes. It’s a good site too. Let me know about the pass. Email me at iktomi_3@yahoo.ca.
