I’m 13 but I’m waaaaay behind in French, does anyone know a website where I can learn French and have fun, like with cutesy games and activites and stuff? Something colourful to get my attention. Or just a site in general that you think could be helpful…Help much appreciated!

Well my German teacher keeps pushing http://www.languagesonline.org.uk, they also have French though.

And there’s always http://www.bbc.co.uk/schools/gcsebitesize/french/ The BBC has a very good selection of revision and games in most subjects at most levels.

Games for different age groups, and please don’t say "hide-and-seek". I know the obvious games, do you have anything a little more unique?
    Thanks guys!

I’m a babysitter, so these ideas must be free and at their home.

What kid of cd’s should i use for making back-up copys of ps2 games?

As a General Rule, the best quality you can afford. What’s the point if the copy on cheap media dies after a short while?

What games did you use to play when you were a kid?

Me and my neighborhood friends would play war games and use sticks for our rifles. Sometimes we would play dress up and pretend to be superheroes, or knights on a quest, depending on where our imagination took us next. Sometimes, I would play Barbie & Ken with some of our girl neighbors, or with my cousins. The theme would always be Barbie and Ken cheating on each other, then getting back together again. Or either one of them dying. We also used to play "courtroom." I would always be the prossecution. The jury would be our stuffed animals. Sometimes, we paired up with our girl neighbors and pretended to be grown-up couples! It was so funny! We had several playhouses and imagine that we were neighbors. The kids would be dolls!

Statues, freeze tag, football, foot races, curb ball, four square, red rover, what time is it mr. fox, water fights….oh thanks for bringing back memories!

does nintendo ds have cool games or jus lil kid games?

Posted by admin on October 8th, 2009 and filed under kid games | 9 Comments »

i had a psp n i loved it i had alot of games like god of war n need for speed but my brother sold it behind my bk.. n my dad jus wants to buy me a nintendo ds but i feel like it only has lilttle kid games..

it really depends on your definition of "cool". In my opinion, DS has many games that target a more mature audience. However, since the DS was designed to be more of an interactive handheld device, the games may have a more cartooned feel to it than the PSP games.

But you can still enjoy fun and addicting games such Pokemon, Final Fantasy, Grand Theft Auto, etc.

where is a good site for kid games?

www.addictinggames.com is a good one. So is miniclip.com, and stuff like that. Just go to Google, or I guess Yahoo! and type free flash games and tons should come up.

while babysitting, how do you keep a 6-year-old happy little kid games & a 12-year-old happy with cool games?

Posted by admin on October 4th, 2009 and filed under kid games | 2 Comments »

    babbysitting, 6 and 12, games, fun, techniques,boys

Ask them what they like to do. You may find that the 12 year old is perfectly capable of entertaining themselves, and what you need to provide is supervision. Or you can engage them in outdoor activities, such as frisbee or throwing a ball around. Yes, the 12 year old’s skills will be above the 6 year old’s, but having you there will make up for that.

You could also engage them in a craft project where they can work on the same projects independantly, such as working with clay or painting. Or, pick a movie they both like and chill out with some popcorn.

Don’t worry too much though, because trust me, their parents are wondering the same thing as you!
