I really like the game "The Biggest Brain" that they have on Facebook. I think it helps sharpen my mind. Are there better/more effective games that are similar to this one?

I’m very disorganized and would like to train my brain to be more organized.
Soduko and Cross Word Puzzles. I do two of each every day.
I’m a sophomore in high school and my teacher is making me do a new science project for science fair. I want to know if games stimulate brain function. Is this a good project, and what resources will i need to do it besides testable subjects.
A great website. I haven’t seen any others that come close to it. The games are fun and challenging. Free Trail here http://virl.ws/FreeSamples/BrainGames/
Try the scientific brain training program by Lumosity. It’s fun and it improves memory and attention.
I searched this before, but found no good answers. I would like for someone to really find the answer for me, someone be my hero!!! Save ME!!! So yeah, i play a lot of games, and today i just heard from my friend playing games kill brain cells, is it true? why?

I play command and conquer. i have to use my mind. u only kill brain cells by watching stupid stuff on tv.
I was wondering if there would be the differences on how a person turns out between a person who grew up playing video games and one who didn’t.
Yes it does, but many things stimulate the brain - so there would not necessarily be any difference.
I played a game called BrainSpa and it was good, but I’m wondering what other games there are. They can be for any console, preferably PC. I am looking for something that is for teens or older.
There are some great kinds of games that you can play to exercise your brain. Since you said you can use the computer, I would recommend Weboggle, because everyone loves Boggle. Other things I would recommend include: Sudoku puzzles, which help with reasoning, logic, critical thinking, and general problem solving abilities about your brain.
Hope this helps
crossword puzzles? Sudoku? I’m gonna check them both out. Anymore you know of?????
Side Question (if you can answer it): Is there any way I can play the game Brain Age or Brain Academy if I don’t have a Ninteno DS?
But my main question is the first one. :o) Thank you!
chess, bejeweled, Memory (from SolSuite), Typing Maniac, Bookworm adventures, etc….
I was wondering if video games like star craft, advance wars, etc increase brain functions like concentration, reasoning, overall faster everything. Any recommendations, I’m getting ready to go back to college but my brain feels pretty sluggish, I’m going to start exercising again, I got a exercise bike, but I’d like to be able to figure out problems faster, read faster, and make better strategys/plans. I need something fun so I know theres a better chance of me following threw.
Some popular brain training games:

Brain Age 2
Brain Boost: Beta Wave
Brain Boost: Alpha Wave
Big Brain Academy
Right-Brain, Left Brain
I’m looking for a new game to play. I want something that has a good story (something that has an "aha!" moment, or moments of discovery) and something that uses a good amount of brain power. I like Myst and Riven. I also like games with humor, like the Monkey Island series and Grim Fandango.
The question was asked what platform I have. All I gots is a PC running Windows XP.
That’s a hard question to answer. First, which platform do you own/prefer? Typically, RPGs are a good start for story-based games. But lately, it’s hard to recommend games for people looking for story driven games which does not involve extreme violence and controversy (most of them lack a good story). Go to www.gameinformer.com. They usually have good and impartial reviews of upcomming games and they cover almost all platforms.
As for recommendations: I heard Beyond Good & Evil is good and Psychonauts is worth to try (I played this game’s demo and I was entertained). Both available in the original Xbox.
