What are some fun little kids games to play?

I volunteer at my church in Sunday School working with 1st grade through 3rd grade. Before each lesson we have to get the kids pumped up! Do you know any fun games we can play indoors?

You can have them play four corners. What you do is have one kid cover his eyes and guess a corner (1, 2, 3, 4), and if anyone is in the corner he calls, then they are out. Last person in is the person who gets to call the corners in the next round.

What are the exclusively games for Xbox 360 and games for ps3?

Posted by admin on November 21st, 2009 and filed under games | 6 Comments »

I want to know the games only for Xbox 360 and the games for ps3 only. Please make sure your answers are right. I want to know which system has more games. Only exclusive games for ps3 and xbox 360 not games that can be played on both.

Off the top of my head XBOX has Halo, Dead Rising and Left 4 Dead. PS3 has Infamous, Resistance, God of War, Buzz, Demon Souls, Heavenly Sword and Killzone 2.

Here is a complete list of XBOX games (including exclusive and non exclusive games) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Xbox_360_games

And here is the list of PS3 games (including exclusive and non exclusive games)

What are some fun games to play at a graduation party?

Posted by admin on November 19th, 2009 and filed under fun games | 4 Comments »

We are looking for games that adults and children will both enjoy. We also are looking for drinking games that are fun for adults.

I hope some of these games help for the whole group,

Match of the Year (Suitable for all ages)

What you do is try arranging lots of pictures of the grad at various periods throughout their school years on a table. You could turn this into a competition by asking guests to specify which photo belongs to which year.

Rogue’s Gallery (Suitable for all ages)

Set up a table with paper, crayons, pencils and pens. Everyone has to draw a picture of themselves and write their name at the bottom. When they are finished they are pinned on a board. Everyone gets a prize.

Chopstick Race (suitable for ages 5 and up)

Give each person 10 pieces of candy or rice. Also a bowl and a pair of chopsticks. The object is to get the candy or rice into the bowl individually. First person to complete gets a prize!

Octopus Tag (suitable for older ages)

A first person is chosen who is the octopus. The rest of the group are the fish. Each person tagged joins the octopus. Play continues until there is one fish left.

    Blindfold Cottonball Game

Set out 2 fishbowls. One is filled with cottonballs. Each guest must transfer the cotton balls from one bowl to the other using a spoon. The catch is they wear a blindfold.

    Ice Cube Race

Fill a large bowl with water and add a top layer of ice cubes. Guests must get ice cubes out of the bowl using their feet only.

Pass The Orange (suitable for all ages)

This fun-filled game is inexpensive and simple. The only supplies it requires are 2 oranges and people with both a neck and a chin. Divide the group into 2 teams. When the person (not actually playing the game) says "Go!" the people must pass the orange from neck to neck using only chins and necks. The team that can get the orange to the last neck in line the quickest without dropping the orange wins.

Treasure Hunt (suitable for all ages)

In advance hide lots of items in the garden (or indoors). Tie in the objects with the party theme. Give everyone a sheet with the hidden items listed (or drawn for youngsters.) Time the teams or individuals as they find the items. For example for a pirate theme party you could hide fake coins. Have prizes for the winners.

I hope you find also the adult games you need, good luck!

How do I download older nintendo games onto my laptop?

Posted by admin on November 19th, 2009 and filed under games | 6 Comments »

I have seen many people with old nintendo, super nintendo, etc games like mario and zelda on their computers. Where can I get these games from for free?
I used to have them a long time ago (I remember i needed a snes application + the game file) but I dont remember exactly how i got it.

The application or program you need is an "Emulator"
The actual file for the game to play is called a "Rom"

Since you said Snes I’ll be using that as my example.

    Go to http://www.coolrom.com/
    Go to Emulator
    Go to Super Nintendo
You’ll be at this link if done correctly
    http://www.coolrom.com/emulators/snes/
Select an "Emulator" to download. (I prefer Znes)
    Download it.

    Now to download Rom’s

    Go to the http://www.coolrom.com/
    Go to ROM Files
    Go to Super Nintendo
Select the first letter of your game title
(I’ll be using Super Mario Kart as an I.E , so select "S")
Locate Super Mario Kart (The Rom’s are in Alphabetical Order)
Select download file after waiting 15 seconds.

    Un-Zip the .zip folder.

    Open the application
Go to Game > Load > Locate Rom
    There you go!
